Ingredients
- Large shrimp, peeled and deveined1.5 lbs
- Linguine12 oz
- Unsalted butter1/2 cup
- Olive oil1/4 cup
- Garlic, minced6 cloves
- Dry white wine1/2 cup
- Lemon juice1/4 cup
- Fresh parsley, chopped1/4 cup
- Red pepper flakes1/4 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

While pasta cooks, pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Add the drained linguine and chopped parsley to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta and shrimp in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.

Season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
