- Ground black pepper1.5 tsp
- Finely chopped walnuts50g
- Cinnamon1/4 tsp
- Baking soda1/4 tsp

Cream together softened butter and brown sugar until well combined.

Beat in the egg.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ground black pepper, and cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a firm dough forms. Stir in the chopped walnuts.

Wrap the dough and chill for at least 45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough to about 5mm thickness.

Cut out cookies using a round cutter.
