- Onions1 large
- Mushrooms250g
- Garlic3 cloves
- Beef broth300 ml
- Sour cream150g
- All-purpose flour1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh dillfor garnish

Cut the rib steak into 2-3 cm cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear steak cubes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add chopped onions to the pot and cook until softened. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until browned and tender.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the beef broth, scraping the bottom. Bring to a simmer.

Return the steak to the pot. Cover and simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until steak is tender.

Stir in the sour cream and heat through gently without boiling. Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
