- Pre-cooked brown lentils (canned)2 cans (15 oz each)
- Onion1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley2 tablespoons, chopped
- Egg1 large
- Breadcrumbs1/4 cup
- Olive oil2 tablespoons
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/4 teaspoon

Drain and rinse the canned lentils. Mash them lightly in a bowl.

Add finely chopped onion, chopped parsley, egg, and breadcrumbs to the mashed lentils. Season with salt and pepper.
