- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Onion1 medium
- Carrot1 small
- Garlic3 cloves
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Water or vegetable broth1.2 liters
- Vermicelli noodles80 g
- Smoked paprika1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh dillfor garnish

Peel and finely chop the onion, carrot, and garlic.

Wash and roughly chop the tomatoes.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion and carrot until softened, about 7-10 minutes.

Add the garlic and smoked paprika, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the water or broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender or a regular blender.

Return the soup to the pot (if needed). Bring to a simmer and add the vermicelli noodles. Cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
