- Ground beef400g
- Cooked rice2 cups
- Onion1 medium
- Canned diced tomatoes400g
- Ketchup3 tbsp
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Dried oregano1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1/2 cup

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Cut peppers in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes.

Finely chop the onion. Sauté in olive oil until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, cooked rice, sautéed onion, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Stuff the pepper halves generously with the mixture.

In a small bowl, whisk together diced tomatoes, ketchup, salt, pepper, and water to create a sauce.

Place stuffed pepper halves in a baking dish. Pour the sauce around them.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.
