Ingredients
- Potatoes500g
- Cooking oil3 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into uniform slices or cubes, about 1/4 inch thick.

Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.

Carefully add the potato slices to the hot oil in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Fry for about 8-10 minutes per side, or until golden brown and tender. Flip them occasionally for even cooking.

Season generously with salt and black pepper during the last few minutes of cooking.
