Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts1 lb
  • Chicken broth6 cups
  • Orzo pasta1/2 cup
  • Zucchini1 medium
  • Lemon1
  • Fresh dill1/4 cup chopped
  • Fresh parsley1/4 cup chopped
  • Garlic powder1 tsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste

Steps

    In a large pot, combine 6 cups of chicken broth and 1 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Add 1 tsp garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.

    Add 1/2 cup of orzo pasta and 1 medium diced zucchini to the pot. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is cooked and zucchini is tender.
