Ingredients
- Canned tuna, drained5 oz
- Mayonnaise2 tbsp
- Celery, finely chopped1 tbsp
- Red onion, finely chopped1 tsp
- Lemon juice1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Bread slices2
- Butter, softened1 tbsp
- Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded2 slices

In a small bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, chopped red onion, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.

Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Top the bread with half of the tuna salad mixture, then layer with cheddar cheese slices.

Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.

Grill for 3-5 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey. Press down gently with a spatula.

Remove from skillet, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
