Ingredients
- Ripe tomatoes4 large
- Cucumber1 large
- Red onion1 medium
- Kalamata olives1 cup
- Feta cheese200g block
- Extra virgin olive oil1/4 cup
- Dried oregano1 tsp
- Saltto taste

Wash and roughly chop the tomatoes into large, rustic chunks. Place them in a large salad bowl.

Peel the cucumber (optional, but traditional for a smoother texture) and slice it into thick rounds or half-moons. Add to the bowl.

Thinly slice the red onion into rings. Add to the salad.

Add the Kalamata olives to the bowl.

Place the block of feta cheese directly on top of the salad ingredients.

Drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil.

Sprinkle with dried oregano and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
