Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss them with lemon juice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.

Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Rub in the cold butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
