- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Eggs2 large
- Milk500 ml

- All-purpose flour50 g
- Vegetable oil50 ml

- Mixed herbs (e.g., oregano, thyme)1 tsp

If using raw potatoes, boil or microwave until tender, then slice or dice.

Finely chop the onion. Sauté in vegetable oil until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and mixed herbs.

Prepare a quick béchamel: Melt butter, whisk in flour, cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened. Let cool slightly, then whisk in eggs. Season.

Grease a baking dish. Layer half the potatoes, then the meat mixture, then the remaining potatoes.

Pour the béchamel sauce over the top. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30-40 minutes, until golden and set.
