A traditional and creamy hummus made with tahini, chickpeas, lemon juice, and garlic. Perfect as a dip or spread.

Sastojci
- Chickpeas (canned or cooked)2 cans (15 oz each)
- Tahini1/2 cup
- Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)1/4 cup
- Garlic cloves2-3
- Ice water1/4 cup
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Olive oil (for serving)2 tablespoons
- Paprika (for garnish)1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)2 tablespoons

Drain and rinse chickpeas. Reserve some chickpeas for garnish if desired.

In a food processor, combine tahini and lemon juice. Process for 1 minute until smooth and creamy.

Add garlic cloves and salt to the food processor. Process until garlic is finely minced.

Add the drained chickpeas to the food processor. Process until very smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the ice water until the hummus reaches your desired creamy consistency.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Transfer hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle generously with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika, and garnish with chopped parsley and reserved chickpeas.
