- Pike perch fillets700g
- Onions2 medium
- Garlic2 cloves
- Sweet paprika2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil3 tbsp
- Chicken or fish broth200ml
- Heavy cream150ml
- Flour1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh chivesfor garnish

Finely dice the onions and mince the garlic.

Cut the pike perch fillets into 2-3 cm pieces.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Sauté the diced onions until soft and translucent, about 7-8 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and sweet paprika. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.

Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir well. Cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Gently add the pike perch pieces to the simmering sauce.

Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, until the fish is just cooked through.

Reduce heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream. Heat through gently for 2-3 minutes, but do not boil.
