- Veal cutlets4 (about 120g each)
- Pre-sliced mushrooms250g
- Garlic2 cloves
- Heavy cream200ml
- Butter1 tablespoon
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Chicken or vegetable broth50ml
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh chivesfor garnish

Season veal cutlets with salt and pepper. Mince garlic.

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear veal cutlets for 2 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add pre-sliced mushrooms and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 4-5 minutes.

Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan. Let it reduce slightly.

Stir in the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Return the veal to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning.
