- Beef chuck roast700g
- Onions2 medium
- Red bell pepper1
- Garlic2 cloves
- Sweet paprika1.5 tbsp
- All-purpose flour2 tbsp
- Beef broth400ml
- Sour cream or heavy cream150ml
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

- Fresh dillfor garnish

Cut beef into 2-3 cm cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

Finely chop onions, mince garlic, and dice the red bell pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sear beef cubes until browned. Remove beef and set aside.

Add chopped onions to the pot and sauté until softened, about 7-8 minutes.

Add diced red bell pepper and minced garlic. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until peppers start to soften.

Stir in sweet paprika and flour. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Gradually whisk in beef broth. Bring to a simmer.

Return the seared beef to the pot. Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until beef is tender. Add water if needed.

Remove from heat. Stir in the sour cream or heavy cream until well combined. Do not boil after adding cream.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh dill.
