- Ground beef300g
- Coconut milk (canned)100ml
- Shallots, finely chopped50g
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Ginger, grated1/2 inch piece
- Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
- Chili powder1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Sugar1 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, and sugar. Set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Sauté shallots, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.

Add the marinated ground beef to the pan and break it up with a spoon. Cook until browned.

Pour in the coconut milk. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

Cook, stirring frequently, until the liquid has evaporated and the beef becomes dry and fluffy. This will take about 30-40 minutes.
