- Pre-cooked sweet potato or canned pumpkin puree300g
- Quick-cooking tapioca pearls100g
- Coconut milk (light)300ml
- Water150ml
- Sugar80g
- Salt1/4 teaspoon

If using pre-cooked sweet potato, cut into bite-sized pieces. If using pumpkin puree, skip this step.

Cook quick-cooking tapioca pearls according to package directions, usually about 5-10 minutes. Drain and rinse. Set aside.

In a pot, combine light coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.

Add the sweet potato pieces (or pumpkin puree) and cooked tapioca pearls to the coconut milk mixture. Heat through for about 5 minutes.

Serve warm.
