  • plain yogurt2 cups
  • powdered sugar1/2 cup

    Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a clean, dry bowl, beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.

    Gradually add granulated sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition until the meringue is stiff and glossy.

    Gently fold in cornstarch and vanilla extract.

    Drop spoonfuls of meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small 'snowball' shapes.

    Bake for 60-75 minutes, or until the meringues are dry and crisp. Turn off the oven and let the meringues cool completely inside the oven with the door ajar.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together plain yogurt and powdered sugar until smooth.

    Gently coat the cooled meringue snowballs with the yogurt mixture. You can either dip them or spread the mixture over them.
