Tender mushrooms marinated in a flavorful brine with garlic, dill, and spices, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

- Water2 cups
- White vinegar1/2 cup
- Sunflower oil1/4 cup
- Garlic4 cloves
- Fresh dill1 bunch
- Salt1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Black peppercorns1 tsp
- Bay leaf2 leaves

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly. If large, halve or quarter them.

In a saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sunflower oil, salt, sugar, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.

Add the mushrooms to the boiling marinade. Cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.

Add the sliced garlic and chopped dill. Stir gently.

Remove from heat. Let the mushrooms cool completely in the marinade.

Transfer to a clean jar or container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
