- Pork shoulder300g
- Onions2 medium
- Tomatoes300g
- Tomato paste1 tbsp
- Garlic3 cloves
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Water250ml
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh dilla generous bunch

Trim and halve the green beans. Cut the pork shoulder into bite-sized cubes.

Finely chop the onions and mince the garlic.

Dice the tomatoes.

Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat. Brown the pork cubes on all sides. Remove pork and set aside.

In the same pot, sauté the chopped onions until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Return the pork to the pot. Add the diced tomatoes, green beans, water, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 75-90 minutes, or until the pork is tender and the green beans are cooked through.

Stir in most of the chopped fresh dill during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

Adjust seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with the remaining fresh dill.
