Finely chop onion and mince garlic.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Stir well. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and cook, uncovered, for at least 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain.

Serve the sauce over the spaghetti. Garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
