- Onion, chopped1/2
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Marinara sauce680g (24 oz)
- Water or broth2 cups
- Lasagna noodles, broken into pieces250g
- Ricotta cheese200g
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded1 cup
- Parmesan cheese, grated1/4 cup
- Italian seasoning1 tsp
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion, cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Pour in marinara sauce and water/broth. Bring to a simmer. Add broken lasagna noodles and Italian seasoning. Stir well.

Cover the skillet, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.

Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover for a minute or two until cheese is melted.
