Prepare the orange custard: Whisk eggs and sugar. Whisk in cornstarch. Heat milk with orange zest until simmering. Temper the egg mixture with hot milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter, orange juice, and let cool.

Soak the biscuits: Briefly dip chocolate biscuits in a mixture of milk and orange juice.

Assemble the cake: Layer the soaked biscuits and orange custard in a serving dish. Repeat layers, ending with custard.

Prepare chocolate ganache: Heat heavy cream until simmering. Pour over chopped dark chocolate. Let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk until smooth.

Chill: Refrigerate the cake for at least 6 hours or overnight.

Decorate: Pour the chocolate ganache over the chilled cake, letting it drip down the sides. Chill again briefly before serving.
