  • Beef stew meat, cubed500 g
  • Onions, chopped2 medium
  • Garlic, minced2 cloves
  • Sweet Hungarian paprika2 tbsp
  • Beef broth1 liter
  • Potatoes, cubed300 g
  • Carrots, sliced1 large
  • Tomato paste1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil1 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Sour cream (for garnish)optional
  • Fresh dill (for garnish)optional

    Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Brown the beef stew meat.

    Add chopped onions and sauté until softened.

    Pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
