    Score the skin of the duck legs and season generously with salt and pepper.

    Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place duck legs skin-side down and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

    Flip the duck legs. Add sliced garlic and lemon to the skillet around the duck.

    Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 30-40 minutes, or until cooked through and tender.
