Ingredients
- Pork Chops (thick-cut, bone-in)4
- Olive Oil2 tbsp
- Butter2 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves, smashed
- Fresh Rosemary1 sprig
- Saltto taste
- Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Pat the pork chops completely dry with paper towels. Season generously on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Carefully place the pork chops in the hot skillet. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until a deep golden-brown crust forms.

Add butter, smashed garlic cloves, and rosemary sprig to the skillet. Tilt the skillet and spoon the melted butter and aromatics over the pork chops for 1-2 minutes.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 6-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
