Ingredients
- pizza dough1 lb
- San Marzano tomato sauce1/2 cup
- smoked mozzarella cheese200g
- fresh mozzarella cheese100g
- fresh basil leaves1 bunch
- extra virgin olive oil2 tbsp
- garlic1 clove, minced (optional)
- saltto taste
- black pepperto taste

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.

If using fresh dough, stretch it to about 12-14 inches in diameter on a lightly floured surface.

Mix the tomato sauce with minced garlic (if using), salt, and pepper.

Spread the sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.

Tear the smoked mozzarella and fresh mozzarella into pieces and scatter them over the sauce.

Add a few fresh basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil.

Carefully transfer the pizza to the hot stone/baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
