- Pre-cooked mashed potatoes (instant)1 box (approx. 4-5 oz)
- Boiling water1 cup
- Milk1/4 cup
- Butter2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.

In a medium bowl, combine the contents of the instant mashed potato box.

Pour the boiling water into the bowl with the potato flakes. Stir until just combined.
