Ingredients
- Wonton wrappers24
- Cream cheese8 oz
- Cooked crab meat6 oz
- Green onions2 stalks
- Garlic powder1/2 tsp
- Soy sauce1 tsp
- Sesame oil1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil for frying3 cups
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture into the center.

Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing out any air. Then, bring the two bottom corners together and press to seal, forming a purse shape.

Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or wok to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully fry the crab rangoon in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pot.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
