- Ground beef400 g
- Onion1 large
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Egg (for wash)1

Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.

Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. Unroll the sheets.

Spread the meat filling over one sheet of puff pastry, leaving a border. Top with another sheet.

Seal the edges by crimping with a fork. You can make one large pie or cut into individual portions.

Whisk the egg and brush it over the top of the pastry for a golden finish.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
