- Onions2 medium
- White cheese (e.g., feta)200 g
- Vegetable oil150 ml
- Saltto taste

Finely chop onions and sauté in oil until translucent. Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.

Crumble the white cheese and mix it into the cooled meat filling.

Prepare phyllo dough sheets by brushing each with oil. Layer several sheets (3-5) for the base.

Spread the meat and cheese mixture evenly over the layered phyllo.

Roll up the phyllo with the filling to form a log, or shape into a round pie.

Place in a greased baking dish. Brush the top with an oil and water mixture.
