Cook the short pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Dice the bacon into small pieces.

Finely chop the onion.

In a pan, fry the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon bits and set aside, leaving some rendered fat in the pan.

Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté until softened and lightly browned.

Stir in the paprika and cook for about 30 seconds.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan. Toss to combine with the onion and paprika mixture.
