- Garlic2 cloves
- Orzo pasta100 g
- Vegetable broth1 liter
- Heavy cream100 ml
- Olive oil2 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
- Saltto taste

Wash and roughly chop the tomatoes. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped garlic and sauté for another minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes. Cook for 10-15 minutes until broken down.

Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes.

Blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender.

Return the soup to the pot. Stir in the orzo pasta, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is al dente. Stir frequently.
