In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Do not overmix.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1.5-2 cm thick.

Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.

Grill the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely charred. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).

Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
