- Mayonnaise or preferred saucefor spreading

In a bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper.

Mix gently until just combined.

Form the mixture into 4 patties.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.

During the last minute of cooking, place a cheese slice on each patty to melt.

Spread sauce on the inside of the burger buns.

Place a cheesy chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun and top with the other half.
