- Beef stew meat, cut into smaller cubes750 g
- Onions, finely chopped2 large
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Sweet paprika2.5 tbsp
- Tomato paste1.5 tbsp
- Beef broth600 ml
- Potatoes, peeled and cubed400 g
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Brown the smaller beef cubes quickly.

Add finely chopped onions and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Remove from heat, stir in paprika and tomato paste. Mix well.

Return beef to the pot. Add beef broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until beef is partially tender.

Add cubed potatoes. Cover and simmer for another 30-35 minutes, or until potatoes and beef are tender. Add water if needed.

Adjust seasoning. Serve hot.
