- Sweet Hungarian paprika3 tbsp
- Hot Hungarian paprika1/2 tsp
- Fish broth or water750 ml
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Sour cream (for serving)optional
- Fresh dill (for garnish)optional

Finely chop the onion and garlic.

Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces.

In a pot, sauté the onion over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.

Remove from heat, stir in the paprikas. Mix well.

Gradually add the broth or water, stirring to combine.
