- Fresh white cabbage700 g
- Pre-cooked smoked sausage (e.g., kielbasa)250 g
- Onion1 medium
- Carrots1 large
- Garlic2 cloves
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Paprika (sweet)1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water or vegetable brothenough to cover

Slice the pre-cooked sausage and dice the onion. Peel and dice the carrot. Mince the garlic.

Shred the cabbage finely.

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the sliced sausage and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and paprika. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the shredded cabbage and diced carrot to the pot.

Pour in enough water or broth to cover. Season with salt and pepper.
