Lightly pound the beef steaks and season with salt and pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove steaks and set aside.

Add chopped onions to the skillet and sauté until softened and lightly golden, about 8-10 minutes.

Stir in the sweet paprika and tomato paste, cook for another minute.
