Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Score the skin of the pork knuckles.

Rub with salt, pepper, and mustard seeds.

Place pork knuckles in a Dutch oven or oven-safe pot. Add chopped onion and garlic cloves.

Pour in the dark beer and vegetable broth.

Cover and braise in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
