In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, kajmak (or sour cream), salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty shape.

Cut the white cheese into 4 equal cubes or thick slices.

Place a piece of cheese in the center of each flattened patty. Fold the meat mixture around the cheese, ensuring it is completely enclosed, and shape into a round, slightly flattened patty.

Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or on an outdoor grill over medium-high heat.

Grill the pljeskavice for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely browned with visible grill marks. The cheese inside should be melted.
