Bahan
- Smoked Beef (Daging Salai)400g
- Coconut Milk400ml
- Shallots50g
- Garlic3 cloves
- Chili Paste (Sambal Tumis)2 tbsp
- Ground Turmeric1 tsp
- Lemongrass1 stalk
- Turmeric Leaf1
- Assam Gelugur1 piece
- Saltto taste
- Water50ml
Langkah

Slice shallots and garlic thinly. Bruise the lemongrass stalk.

Heat a pot and sauté sliced shallots and garlic until fragrant.

Add chili paste and ground turmeric. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add the smoked beef and stir-fry briefly.

Pour in coconut milk and water. Add bruised lemongrass and Assam Gelugur.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens.

Add turmeric leaf and cook for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt to taste.
