Bahan
- Pre-cooked sago pearls or small sago pearls1 cup
- Gula Melaka (palm sugar)150g
- Coconut milk300ml
- Water1 cup
- Salt1/4 teaspoon

If using small sago pearls, cook according to package directions until translucent. Drain and rinse with cold water. If using pre-cooked sago, simply rinse.

In a small saucepan, melt the gula melaka with 1/2 cup of water over low heat until dissolved. Set aside.

In a bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, remaining 1/2 cup of water, and salt. Gently warm it (do not boil).

To serve, place the sago pearls in bowls. Pour the warm coconut milk mixture over the sago, then drizzle with the gula melaka syrup.
