Prepare the mochi coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk together glutinous rice flour, milk, powdered sugar, and melted butter until smooth.

Microwave the mochi mixture on high for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave for another 1 minute, stir again. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the mixture is thick and translucent (about 2-3 minutes total).

Working quickly, take a firm cheesecake bite from the freezer. Flatten a small portion of the mochi mixture in your hand, place the cheesecake bite in the center, and carefully wrap the mochi around it, sealing the edges. Roll into a ball.
