- Mee Kolok noodles500g
- Pre-cooked Char Siu (Chinese BBQ Pork), sliced200g
- Garlic, minced1 tsp
- Light soy sauce3 tbsp
- Oyster sauce1 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Chicken broth or water50ml
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Spring onions, chopped2 tbsp
- Fried shallots2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Waterfor boiling noodles

Boil the Mee Kolok noodles in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse briefly. Set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth/water.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

Pour the sauce mixture into the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add the drained noodles to the pan with the sauce. Toss well to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
