- Sago flour150g

- Chili padi (for dipping sauce)5-10

- Oil for deep fryingas needed

Process the fish fillets into a fine paste using a food processor or by pounding.

In a bowl, combine the fish paste with sago flour and salt. Mix well until a sticky dough forms.

Add water gradually to achieve a pliable dough consistency. Knead until smooth.

Shape the dough into long, sausage-like logs or desired shapes.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Gently drop the shaped keropok lekor into the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface (about 5-8 minutes).

Remove the boiled keropok lekor and drain them. Let them cool slightly.

Heat a generous amount of oil in a wok or deep fryer over medium-high heat.

Deep-fry the boiled keropok lekor until golden brown and slightly crispy. Drain on paper towels.

For the dipping sauce: blend chili padi, sugar, and vinegar. Adjust seasoning to taste.
