- Water spinach (kangkung)500g
- Belacan (shrimp paste)1 tsp
- Chili paste (sambal oelek or similar)2 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves
- Vegetable oil1.5 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Water1 tbsp

Wash and trim the kangkung. Cut into sections.

Mince the garlic.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add the belacan and chili paste. Stir-fry for 1 minute until aromatic.
