Bahan
- Glutinous rice1.5 cups
- Coconut milk1.5 cups
- Pandan extract2 tablespoons
- Water1 cup
- Sugar3/4 cup
- Eggs1 large
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Cornstarch1.5 tablespoons

Rinse glutinous rice and soak for 1 hour. Drain well.

Steam the glutinous rice for 15-20 minutes until cooked. Mix with 3/4 cup coconut milk and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Press into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan.

In a saucepan, whisk together 3/4 cup coconut milk, sugar, egg, pandan extract, and cornstarch.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 5-7 minutes).

Pour custard over the rice layer.

Steam for 25-30 minutes until set.
