- Cornstarch1/4 cup
- Water2 cups
- Granulated sugar3/4 cup
- Green food coloringa few drops
- Vanilla extract1/2 teaspoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Desiccated coconut1/2 cup

In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, water, green food coloring, vanilla extract, and salt. Heat gently until sugar dissolves. Let it cool slightly.

In a bowl, whisk together rice flour and cornstarch. Gradually add the sugar syrup mixture while stirring until smooth.

Pour the batter into greased small silicone molds or a lined baking dish. Steam over medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes, or until set.

Allow the kuih to cool completely. Unmold and cut into bite-sized pieces.
